Sustainability is a maxim of the company Dolezych from Dortmund, Germany. As part of the "progres.nrw - low-emission mobility" funding programme, the company invested in charging infrastructure from ABL. It draws a very positive conclusion about the charging infrastructure project and the operation and handling of the ABL charging stations. Both management and employees are enthusiastic about the switch to electromobility, and climate-neutral charging and driving has already become an integral part of the company.

The company received the "Green Mobility" and "Fit for eMobility" awards from the city of Dortmund for setting up the charging infrastructure. These are part of the "UmsteiGERN" campaign, which aims to achieve an emission-free city centre in Dortmund.
Environmental awareness, sustainability and resource conservation are among Dolezych's central ecological goals. Examples of this are the PV system on the roof of the company's headquarter and the purchase of local, climate-neutral electricity. The call for funding in NRW offered the ideal opportunity to set up an in-house charging park on site and thus reduce the company's carbon footprint even further. The subsidies granted have also resulted in considerable cost savings. Employee satisfaction is also one of the main reasons for electrifying the vehicle fleet.

The project was planned, supported and implemented by an external electrician. The company was advised on a customised ABL charging solution and the electrician carried out the installation and commissioning of the charging group in July 2023. Currently, only pool and company vehicles are charging, but this is to be expanded in the future.
