The Supernova 220 combines efficient technology with smart functions and fulfils all requirements in the DC segment, including the legally prescribed calibration law conformity for use in the public sector in Germany and Austria.
The Supernova 220 was developed by Wallbox Chargers specifically for the markets in the DACH region and is the first DC charging station in the product portfolio of eMobility pioneer ABL. It is reliable in operation and can be flexibly adapted to the individual requirements of charging point operators thanks to its scalable performance. Energy consumption is optimized and charging times are shortened as a result. The Supernova 220 therefore offers CPOs and users maximum efficiency. Its simple operation makes it particularly user-friendly.
The technical requirements for fast charging stations are high. With the Supernova 220, ABL offers charging point operators a DC fast charging station that is characterized in particular by its reliability in operation and high performance with a small footprint. It is available with 75, 150 or 220 kW charging power. 6 independent power modules ensure easy maintenance and maximum uptime. In addition, the modular design allows the charging capacity to be increased at a later date.
In addition to a comprehensive network of charging infrastructure, the user-friendliness of charging stations is an important factor for electric drivers. The Supernova 220 can be operated intuitively with a touch display and offers various contactless payment options depending on the version selected by the charging point operator.
ABL has been developing and producing AC charging stations since 2011 and covers all applications in the private, commercial and public sectors with its AC portfolio. With the introduction of the first DC charging station in its portfolio, ABL is positioning itself even more broadly and serving even more of the diverse applications in the eMobility sector.
"We have focused on AC charging stations for many years and have built up a great deal of expertise and experience in the private, commercial and public sectors. Our aim is always to offer our customers the best possible product and a solution tailored to their requirements, even for highly complex applications. We are delighted that with the Supernova 220 we can now also do this in the DC sector," explains Ferdinand Schlutius, Co-CEO and CSO of ABL.
"Securing Eichrecht compliance for Supernova 220 is testament to our advanced technology and the precision engineering of our team. As Germany continues to expand its EV infrastructure, dependable fast-charging solutions such as Supernova will be crucial to supporting the transition, and we are excited to offer a product that will meet the diverse needs of our customers in DACH," says Jaume Ferre, co-CEO of ABL.
